Getting Ready for Christmas.....

Ok, so again...I am a little behind...I was supposed to catch up on this blog during Christmas break (mind you, 3 WEEKS), but I didn't want to--so I didn't, and now I am WAY BEHIND AGAIN!!

I just can't keep the energy to sit in front of the computer and write about how important my life seems to be to me and possibly to others (strangest thing I have ever said!!), but many people have told me they like it--and I liked reading others' as well....so here we go to catch up!

Christmas (Hey! I'm only 1 month behind!)

Christmas was different this year, but it was also good.  The worrying about how Christmas would be for us, the kids, presents, the weather, etc. was way worse than actually celebrating Christmas with just our family.  What is it that is said in Matthew 7:34? "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.  Each day has enough trouble of its own." This rang true for our Christmas this year!

While the kids opened their presents from under the Limon Tree--don't hate--we Skyped with my parents and FaceTimed with Bruce's mom.  The kids opened presents and shared with the grandparents through the computer.  It was so sweet!

After we opened presents, we ate Bruce's traditional breakfast--pancakes, bacon, eggs, and toast.  We invited our neighbor Nathan and we all had a good time.  Nathan hung out with us most of the day, talked to his family in New Mexico and to his fiancee in Uganda, Africa.  So we got to meet all of them.  It was like traveling around the world without leaving our house!  Gotta love technology!  Thanks Steve Jobs!!!

Here are some of the pictures from Christmas and getting ready for Christmas~  Enjoy!!
