Sala and Ahoyt Team- Reno, NV & Plainfield, IL

We welcomed Dr. Sala and his family and Dr. Ahoyt and his family as well as some of the people from their dental office to work with us for a few days.

This is the second time that Dr. Sala has been here with his family and the first time for Dr. Ahoyt and his family.

We had a great time with the team and we worked them hard!

Half of the team worked in the daycare and the other half worked on phase 2 with another team we had here.  They worked on lots of different things, but mostly on the concrete wall between the properties on Phase 2.

So this is one of our 3rd graders (9 years old) from the daycare and this is Dr Ahoyt's 5--yes FIVE year old daughter!

We are so thankful for the Sala Family coming back and bringing part of their work crew and their friends the Ahoyts and their crew.  It was great getting to work and serve with them and just get to have fun!

Living Hope, Bowling Green, KY

We welcomed our faithful team from Living Hope Baptist Church--along with a couple of members from Calvary Baptist Church in KY as well!

They had a hard week and were pooped after their time with us, but we advanced so much on Phase 2!!

The Team

The week started out with dinner at our house.

After dinner, they stuffed all the eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt

On Sunday we went to Rio Azul for the church service, then after we had lunch and an Easter egg hunt with the kids in the Children's Homes

The starting Monday, it was nothing but work, work, work!
The team worked on the concrete barrier wall along the property line. Not easy work at all!

As always, in Bruce style, he teaches some of the youngers to use the back hoe.

We were lucky enough to pend time with the Thomas' after a hard day's work!

The team also did a night of worship and a spaghetti dinner up in Rio Azul. Always a good turn out up there.

When it was time for the team to leave, we got all the kids together. It was a great time for Emme to have some time with kids her own age--well almost her own age--the same size anyways!
