Ringing in the New Year in Costa Rica.....

This year we were so blessed to be invited with our friends Eliel, Rodé and Josué to Siquirres, Costa Rica for New Years.  We were there for a week and got to see another part of Costa Rica.  We stayed with Rodé's family--12 people in a 3 bedroom 1 bath house.  It was small, but cozy--just right!  The kids were able to go to the farm that Rodé's dad works at, dig up yuca, plant yuca, drink fresh pipas from the tree, go to Limón, play in a river, play soccer, ride bikes and just hang out with a really wonderful family and friends.

Started out as an early morning 1/2 mile walk to the bus stop

With 2 suitcases
