August Fun!!!

Here is what we were doing in August.....enjoy our life through a lens.  Thank you to everyone who has been with us through this journey.  YOU make it possible for the Lord to work through us, here in the Abraham Project and in Costa Rica!  THANK YOU!

 

Had our last group to our house on the covered back porch!

Got to hang with these two cuties all week! Noelle and Leah-twinning!

When the Grace Community Chapel comes, they bring it and all the kids LOVE IT!!!!!

And of course we made them cook Korean food for us!!! YUM!

After the group left, we presented some of the songs to the elders of the church, the pastor and long time friend, John Kessler.  The kids loved doing these songs.

Every day they did crafts and here is Leyton with his class.

Emme was so excited to have her friend, Sarah, back to hang out with.  Unfortunately, Emme was sick most of the week while they were here, but this was her first day to really get to hang out with her!

We cooked out one last time with our friends, The Culbertsons, before they moved onto Mexico.

And this was the finished meal....mmmmm steak, potatoes and 7 layer salad!

It never gets easier hanging with friends, sharing, having fellowship, having kids the same ages then having to say see ya later.  These were some pretty cool peeps and we miss them lots!

Started making some green smoothies.....yummy and easy with all this fresh fruit and veggies in Costa Rica!

Here is a closer view...yes, it almost fell.  And we had people up there earlier and to fix it DURING the wind storm--oh no not me--OR BRUCE!

Well, we made it through our first team season! We were tired and we learned A LOT!!! But we are so thankful to everyone who has supported us and have allowed us this opportunity! We are so grateful for each and every one of you, and thank you for your prayers!

We hope keeping up with us through this blog shows a little of what our life and also our ministry at the Abraham Project and in Costa Rica!
