November Fun!!

Here is a look at what was happening in November--after team season!!

Of course we celebrated Thanksgiving again with our missionary families and Tico families!

 We took the kids to their first 4D-X movie! It was AWESOME and the kids loved it!

 At the end of 2017 swimming season, the swim team decided to to roller skating to celebrate a good season and working hard! It was fun!

We were treated to a 3 day retreat with Riverstone Church in GA.  They sent a team down to pour into our team and each couple individually.  It was a time of relax, fellowship, prayer, and studying God's word.  We were in a house in Quepos over looking the rainforest and the ocean off in the distance! Absolutely breathtaking!  Here are a few pictures of our experience!  We are so thankful to Riverstone Church for our missionary care and support.

We had one day of going to Manuel Antonio for a guided tour and fun at the beach.

We say a 2 toed sloth hanging out in the tree! First time for me to see a 2 toed!

Our guide found these really cool bright colored crickets! Beautiful and small....it was mating season!

He also found these guys hanging out under the leaf! I love bats!!

This was our view right from our house! We saw everything from capuchin monkeys, spider monkeys, 3 toed sloth and baby, red macaws, toucans and lots of other normal stuff--birds, squirrels, etc.  It was amazing! Highly recommend staying there is you can!

 We welcomed our last team of the year--Shalom Christian Academy from Pennsylvania!

Bruce got to go with the team to Volcan Irazú--and it had water in it again!  So much rain during rainy season it stayed!
