In August, we welcomed the team from TTW (Touch the World) from The Life Christian Church from New Jersey.
This is a team we have hosted for the last couple of years and we love having them!

The team did a lot of work the week they were here. They helped us with a lot of maintenance.
One of the jobs they did was help us cut back all the cane grass along the river on Phase 2 property. It was a lot of fun working with the machetes--and no one fell in the river!

The team also helped us break down and put away all of the forms on phase 2. This included removing all the nails and breaking them down to single pieces. I told the team it was just like all the work at the very beginning of teams coming to the Abraham Project--pulling nails!

The team also worked at the feeding ministry in La Carpio with Pastor James and Cristina and then did childrens activities after with all the kids!

The team also had fun in the daycare at the Abraham Project. They did bible stories and activities with the kids!

For their fun day, the team went to Tortuga Island. It was a fun day of playing in the water and relaxing in the nice weather!

Jason has been coming on this team for the last 3 trips. It has been neat seeing him grow over the years! And I like to see how Leyton grows as well. I sent this picture to Jason's mom so she could see how big Leyton has gotten since the first time Jason came here!
