October Fun!

Check out what we were doing in October! Our life through photos!  ENJOY!

Bruce finished his MAN GRILL! This thing is awesome! 6 burners drawers, cutting board, griddle and it's BIG!
Chunche number....who knows!?
In October we were blessed by a visit from our home church. It was our Pastor Seth, his wife Melissa, Pappy and Belinda and Rachel.  It was a trip to get to know our ministry, where we work, get to know us better and to just love on us! It was the first trip to Costa Rica for all of them except Pappy, so it was great sharing with everyone what our life looks like--and to share it with people who have invested in us being here!
At Franco's on the last day!
We also welcomed 2 teams during October to wrap up our 2018 team season.

Here is a typical sight everyday that I leave--our dogs Cooper and Miles.

Pathetic little puppies!
And when I'm ready for bed, this is what it looks like!

Leyton was also invited to Parque Diversiones (Amusement Park) for a birthday party. It was his second time here and his first time being tall enough to ride the REAL rides. We had a great time with his friends and rode a lot of rides!

Got him to go on the upside down roller coaster without me!

The water ride to end the day!
We got to take the kids with us to La Carpio, Las Gradas where we take groups. It was the first time for both of them. I think it was a good eye opener for them.

October is also Columbus Day, however here in Costa Rica it is called Culture Day. So the kids' school represented countries and cultures from around the world. Each class did a different country and represented it with food and pictures and lots of other stuff. The food was so good!

Emme and Teacher Karina. 6th grade represented Germany

Leyton and his class represented Spain!
Emme also had a swimming event with all of the other students at CROL swimming. It was great to see her show off her skills! She loves the water!

Just finished!

She received a medal!
We also got to just have some fun!

Bruce and I in the moon light overlooking the Central Valley!

This is a pizote--they are not very nice, but Bruce got close enough to take it's picture!

Bruce and Jorge (one of our workers) were able to baptize 2 girls from our last team! So special to be a part of it!

Bruce and I at the top of Irazú Volcano on a beautiful day!

Thanks for keeping up with us and our crazy life!
