Last Team of 2015- Shalom Christian Academy, PA

Our last team of 2015 was from Shalom Christian Academy in Pennsylvania.  This is a team that has come to the Project in the past, but it had been a few years.  This is a senior class that takes their senior trip to serve with us!

We had a great week with them and were so glad to end our year on such a great note with a great team.

Here is a look at their week:

Shalom Christian Academy-Senior class 2016

Steve is teaching the youngins a lesson in physics...

This is where we worked all week....muddy!

Some of the team got to go with the daycare to assist with a Movie Day!

IrazĂș Volcano

IrazĂș Volcano 15 minutes later....

And it was cold IN the clouds
This is a Shalom tradition (I guess)...climb up the side of a volcano and do flips....I didn't

This looks like something out of a scary movie....

Seriously....where did they go?

The team also got to worship with a several church wide event

The boys playing slap the heck out of each other

And there is the team leader.....right along with them

This was the sod we were supposed to help lay....it arrived on the afternoon after the team left

It was a lot of sod!

Leveling and leveling....

and more leveling...

and muddy leveling....

and pause leveling for a picture!

Last day of work with Pastor Jorge and a neighborhood dog

We had a great time with these students and will hopefully see them again one day.  Hopefully,
Shalom will continue to bring their students here to the Abraham Project!  We love keeping up relationships like this one!
