We welcomed back TTW (Touch the World) team from NJ, The Life Christian Church. They were OUR last team to lead for the year. It was a great team to end the busy year with!
On Tuesday, the team started out with practicing for their skits for the daycare! Then they worked with the kids with bible stories and activities.

On Wednesday, the team went to La Carpio to help with the feeding ministry and do activities with the kids there. We always have a good time there!

On Wednesday night, the team got to hang out with the kids and then they cooked them a spaghetti dinner in the houses. Then they got to hang out and make balloon animals and other fun things!

On Thursday we had a complete change of schedule. We were approached by a church that we have worked with in the past. They had a land slide a few months ago and they needed help moving along on the retention wall they were building. There was a guy who was doing it for free on the side, but only had Saturdays and Sundays to work on it. This was after a month. So the pastor asked if we could assist. I talked with the team leader and she said YES! and thought her team was ready for the challenge.

And some of the team worked in the feeding ministry, serving the food to kids, helping in the kitchen and hanging out with the kids, getting to know them.
On Friday, the team took a trip to La Paz Waterfall Gardens. This is the only picture Bruce had from that day

On Saturday the team got to hang out with the Children's homes kids again, then have a cookout with them.

Sunday the team went to church and then had lunch with the children's homes again.
The team had been given children to pray for during their prep and
training time. They bought their child a small gift and gave it to them
that afternoon.

This is how the team prepared to come to Costa Rica. TTW (Touch the World) is a great organization. It trains and prepares it's teams before they come. They also pray for the missionaries. This was a picture on the Touch the World Instagram account. The team prayed over us as a family. We are SO grateful for those prayers. I just think this is the NEATEST picture! Love TTW and TLCC!!
