July Fun!!!

Well, July came and went with a fury and with lots of teams!  It seems like all a blur to me....so this is a great refresher for me as well to remember what happened!  HAHA!

Enjoy!

Our first real family team from Mount Pisgah PCA, Atlanta, GA! Emme and Leyton were in heaven!

Costa Rica Family Mission team from Mt Pisgah PCA, Atlanta, GA

Two dental teams from LA and GA Dr. Lemons and Dr Moreau

Dental Team Dr Tong and Dr. MacLaga
Team from BelPres, Bellevue, WA

For 4th of July, we had a picnic with the dental teams, family team and a mission team plus all of the workers!  Steve and Bruce smoked meat....'nuff said! YUM!!!!

Our family was able to go ziplining with one of the teams.  Emme and Leyton got to do the whole thing by themselves!
Bruce loves smoking where he's not supposed to....HAHA!
We were able to try Guatemalan tamales...called PACHES.  They are potato and OH SO GOOD!!!! So glad to share in our friend's culture and FOOD!!! YUM!

Our four harnesses together--SAFETY FIRST!
We were gifted marshmallows graham crackers and chocolate for one of our teams...so we made S'MORES!

And Bruce got to try out chuche #3- a rocket stove

Love when we see little reminders of our teams that we have had here.  This is a shirt that was donated by Pediatric Dental Group, TN--our very first ever dental team

A team brought color spray for the hair...Emme got her's done!

We finally got the trash from construction cleaned up!  YAY for movement in the right direction!

Got to hang out with these awesome ladies in La Carpio with a dental team...

We welcomed some interns....and they cleaned out the dumpster....YAY INTERNS!

It was a kid's party--and I got COTTON CANDY!!

This is right after I told him NOT to put them in his mouth--that's the look I got...hmmmm

Then he did this!  This kid.....

Leyton got to work with Nata and helped paint a tree!

Learning the techniques from the BEST!

Leyton and his buddy, Betty

Child labor laws....nope, not when they volunteer!

A sunny morning after what seemed like forever of grey dreary mornings!

Leyton and I went on a 3/4 mile run.

Emme and I did a 1 mile run--this is about the truth!

Cutting the grass and trimming in rainy season!

This would be a root canal.....yup!

And these would be teeth pulled during our dental clinics!

Interns, team members and Sweet Christina in La Carpio

Hanging on the beach with my husband

Leyton jumped in the picture with these teenagers--nothing new!

Emme ziplining

Leyton ziplining

At the beach

Daycare kids got to play in the mud--this was their bath

Leyton and I in our CHIVA ziplining gear

Emme and the gators

Me in the losers corner with the kids in the daycare--we got out of the game

Finding tiny lizards is fun for all kids!

Don't worry, he had corn on his butt! HAHA

Making friends and hanging out in downtown

Leyton and his buddy Reed on the catamaran

Giant soccer ball, anyone!?!?

This is what a pathetic girl looks like when she has to be in the daycare while we have a team.  It doesn't happen too often, but if you can see her face......OH LORD!

Emme has been working on her swimming and is getting much better!

The SK8 ministry in action
July was super busy, and although this is just a snapshot, we hope you get to see what we get to experience everyday here.

THANKS TO GOD AND TO ALL WHO MAKE IT POSSIBLE!

In HIM,

the crawfords
