JE Team, Prestonwood Christian, TX

This year, we welcomed our first team from Joshua Expeditions.  And thankfully, it is a team that we have built a relationship with.  Normally Joshua Expeditions teams change and normally there are different kids and leaders if a team/school returns--but not with Prestonwood Christian Academy!!

This school is awesome--this is their 3rd year (with us as team leaders) and we LOVE welcoming them back every year!  Different kids, but basically the same leaders!  They have become like family and great friends that come to visit!  It is such a blessing for us when we have these types of relationships with people we only get to spend 2 days with a year!

Here is a look at their 2 days....ENJOY!

LUNCH!
This team got to spend the afternoon with the daycare kids--they brought all kinds of good crafts to do with them....it was hot and sunny, but everyone had a good time!

We always like to have people work with the ladies in the kitchen....

We were blessed to have our intern, Savannah's mom with us!  She got right to work
Susanne with her team's nametags--Emme photobombing

This team also got to help move furniture and lots of stuff from the old school around the corner to the brand new school closer to us.

This is Melody--one of the leaders of the Prestonwood team--and who I consider a friend.  She is just an awesome example of leader, teacher, friend and woman of God.  I love having her for just the short 2 days every year!  (BTW, she is standing on the sidewalk and I am standing on the ground--downhill!! You're welcome Melody!

And here is a picture of the backpack in use...frees up an arm to wrap around your buddy!

Thanks Prestonwood!  See you in 2017!!
