September Fun!!

Well, another month.  This was our first month "without" teams.  We got to hang together as a family and just live life.  Getting ready for next year and get into our groove when we don't have teams.  Enjoy seeing our life through a lens.....

Started my English class with the teachers in the daycare.  It is going pretty well, and I have had help with materials and supplies from many friends! THANK YOU!!

It doesn't happen very often, but when it does....aaahhhhh!

This happens all the time! He is a lazy puppy!

Emme at her farol (lantern) celebration at school for Costa Rican Independence Day

Bruce was able to head back to Kentucky (and Indiana for one day) for our Missions Conference at our church.  Here is what he got to do!
He got to worship at our home church, Southside Christian Church in Harrodsburg, KY

He got to hang out with the Waddells and the beautiful Ericka

He got to head up to Fort Wayne for a day...

And eat at the Fort Wayne Famous Coney Island Hotdog Stand....JEALOUS!!!

He also ate at Saigon...Spring rolls...

and Vietnamese Pho noodle soup

Having fun with the Coke name bottles--our friend Diego

September started the work on the roof.  This is the concrete pumper truck to finish the columns! YEAH!

Emme and Leyton had an art day with Mommy while Daddy was in the States.

And...this kid...never a dull moment!

The trusses for the roof also arrived!

A dancing dog looking at his own reflection in the window

Mimi (grandma) bought Leyton some Duck Dynasty pajamas--that's a fact Jack!

And with Ericka!

Oh if the world had two Emme's--playing with the iPhone

The Children's Homes were invited to a symphony performance by Sound Impact.  Danielle is the cello player, Rebecca is the violin player.  Both have been to Costa Rica on missions trips to the Abraham Project.  The woman playing the viola is from the States as well, the male violinist is from Spain (lives in US) and the clarinetist is from Costa Rica.

Is was an awesome experience for all!

Bruce took back a whole bunch of coffee from our church. The missions department is selling it to raise money for the roof.

Awesome label!

Finally had dinner with our neighbors and Sebastian finally got to me (a furry) Cooper.  Looks like it went well!

A sweet gift from my friend Natalia.

Boo to you, cancer!

Sharing a morning cup of coffee with Daddy when he was in KY

Having lots of rain in the later part of the rainy season!

Worked with a dental group (mom and daughter) in the daycare doing crafts! We made snowflakes! The kids loved it!

The whole dental team and workers

End of the year celebration of Mommy and Me.  This is a ministry of my friend, Heather.  This is a weekly group that I volunteer with and help out whenever we don't have groups.  This is just about all the moms and kids.  She does an amazing job!
Well, that is pretty much our September! Thanks for checking it out.  Even though this is our "slow" time of the year, we are still keeping busy!
