Team- Grace Community Chapel-New Jersey

In August, we welcomed our last mission team of the 2014 season from Grace Community Chapel in New Jersey.  This was the first team that we got to train with last year so we had a working relationship with them from that first experience.

Let me tell you, if you are wanting to do children's ministry while on a mission trip, you need to learn from these people!  They come every year with hearts and hands ready to serve.  The have amazing leadership and are ready to do anything!  The kids look forward to them coming every year because they have SO much fun with this group--and I'm not going to lie--WE DO TOO!!

We are so grateful for this church, these leaders and the people who have come on the mission trips.  They are wonderful, serving, funny and praying people and they are such a joy to be around!  Oh and every time they come, they cook us traditional Korean food! YUM!!!! (but we would still like them without the cooking.......)

Here is a look into the week with them:

First night was for dinner at our house and just a time of fellowship

Got to play with these two cuties--our youngest mission members!

Every day the group danced and sang worship music with the kids--we ALL love it!

Then they did crafts with the kiddos and the teachers!

All the kids loved the crafts!

Even the littlest ones loved the time to make things

Here is Leyton with his class!

They did outside games with the older kids and inside games with the younger kids inside

One day the oldest kids gave a birthday gift and flowers to one of the team members on her birthday! Happy birthday, Minji!

The parachute was a big hit....and LOUD!

Playing musical chairs

I'm pretty sure this is Joe.....he's a cheater

And this group likes to have FUN! and make fun of others as well.  Sorry Michelle!

Emme and her friend Sarah--reunited and it feel so good!

Dan and Liz.....love these two!

Our dinner for them--Steve's famous ribs

Love hanging out with these peeps

Praying with the kids

Even Pastor Jay is loved by the kids!  Here's proof!

Tug of war....

Proof of Diego cheating

The line to give thank you cards and notes to the team

Like I said, a special team

Praying with the teachers....

Praying for the teachers.....

Afternoon classes were always fun...even when I THINK I can interpret.....

KOREAN DINNER!!!!!

Holy YUMMM! Kimchi fried rice....HEAVEN!

On our way to the airport, took them up on the mountain to take in the whole Central Valley--beautiful!!!
Honestly, I can not tell you how awesome this team is!  There just aren't words.....But we are so thankful to be able to visit them at their church this upcoming December.  We will visit both campuses and get to meet all of the other amazing people at this church!  Seriously, GCC is like our second home church and we have never even been there before.  So looking forward to meeting the head pastor and just getting to fellowship with them in their "home court"

GCC FOR LIFE....bahahahaha! Seriously!
