Joshua Expeditions Team #3- Dallas, TX

March 10 and 11 we welcomed another Joshua Expedition Team--but they are a returning team from Prestonwood Christian Academy in Dallas, TX.  It was neat to have them back--there were even familiar faces--2 of the 4 leaders were return leaders from last year! It was so neat to see them again and to know them immediately when stepping off the bus! That doesn't happen too often with our Joshua Expeditions teams.  This was a team of 38 and they were with us for 2 days! We loved every minute of it!

Organizing wood in the bodega

Sanding scaffolding

Activities in the daycare!

Hanging out in movie theatre chairs....??

More daycare work

Face painting!

Crafts with the kids!
So this team was supposed to leave on a Friday, but I received a message from one of the leaders that they were delayed to leave until Monday because of the Turriabla Volcano eruption.

However, God used their extra time here to serve a family in need.  These pictures were sent to me from one of the leaders. They were used to help a family that lost everything they owned in a fire.  The mother and children were living on the concrete slab for 15 days or more.  They helped to rebuild a house for the family!  Not in their plans, but it was in God's plans.

It was great to have the team here and how God used them during their time!  We are so thankful for them and the work they did with us and for the Abraham Project and the people of Costa Rica!

Blessings!
