JE- Foundations, FL

At the end of March, we received another  Joshua Expeditions (find out more click on link)from Orlando Florida area.  It was a massive team of 63 people.  We kept them busy with daycare and working on Phase II!

Check it out!

The Foundation Academy Team
The team split up into 4 groups and did some activities in the classrooms with the kids!

With the first graders

4-6 year olds

3-4 year olds

Having fun!

Second graders!

Just one of the kids....

Just our crazy assistant to our cook Jenny--her husband, Sergio (Nix)
After daycare, the team went over to Phase 2 for the tour.

Checking out Phase 2
After the tour, the team got to working!  This is one of the first teams that we actually began "work" on Phase 2.  They cleared coffee plants and collected river rocks that we will use for our hand made retaining walls along the rivers.

Looks like a swarm of ants over there!

Collecting the river rocks!

Heading over to Phase 2

A whole bunch of gringos on the road!

Collecting rocks

Clearing the coffee plants

LUNCH!

Cleared a lot of coffee plants for when the bridge company comes in, there is less to clear!

After a hard days work! Heading back to Project
We are always so thankful for our Joshua Expeditions teams.  Usually big groups of young kids that come to work!
