World Mission Partners- Dr Sala and Family

During March, we welcomed a dentist and his family, Dr. Jason Sala, from World Mission Partners.  Dr. Sala believed in the Abraham Project before even being here in person.  He donated money to Phase 2 and THEN came down to actually see it with his own eyes.

He brought his wife and 3 children, Addison, and twin boys Sawyer and Colin. It just so happened that all the children were close in age to Emme and Leyton--it was perfect!

They came over to the Project to have a tour, work in the daycare and Dr. Sala worked with Bruce on a couple projects. They were only supposed to be with us on Friday and then on Sunday for church and lunch after church--however, since our children got along so well, we spent every moment we could with them!

Check out their days with us!

Jason, Lynsey, Addison and the twins--Sawyer and Colin (stolen from Facebook because I did not have ONE family picture of them....SAD!!)

The daycare had a special worship, so we participated in it....

So Saturday night, we decided to go to dinner to get to hang out more with them! They went on a fun day and we had a family trip to the beach for Emme's swim team.  Then we met up afterwards!

We ended the night at the playground in the shopping center

On Sunday, we went to church and then hung out the rest of the day.  Started out with lunch with the missionaries and then went back to the hotel for swimming and dinner.  One last hurrah before they left for the beach to finish out their vacation as a family! (insert sad face)

Bruce took the family on a tour of the area--Rio Azul to better understand the community we serve.

Lunch at the new Pizza a La Leña

The boys trying to get warm on the concrete

The girls were not jaded by the cold water!

And the parents watched from the sidelines

Addison couldn't find the seat belt, so they made do--Safety first!
Then one last dinner together before we went back to school the next day and they went to the beach!

At Taco Bar!

All the kiddos together!

We absolutely loved our time with the Sala family!  We hope one day to make it out to Reno Nevada to visit them on their turf!

If you're ever in the Reno area and need a dentist, look them up!

Thanks Sala Family!!
