Calvary Baptist Church, PA

This was the first year that we welcomed Calvary Baptist Church Youth Group from Pennsylvania. We have had their senior class 2 years in a row, but this is the first youth group from the church! We were excited to partner with them and serve along side of them!

Take a look at their week!

ENJOY!

The week started out with a tour and lunch at the Project.

Getting a look at the apartments on phase 2

Getting a tour of Phase 1

Sunday night, the team went to the cell group with Eliel and Rode. They were doing a special evangelism event and the team got to be a part of it!

Outside in the neighborhood

Lots of worshiping between team and community

Phase 2 work consisted of cutting grass, digging a ditch and working on the houses.

Machetes all around!

The team was also here for the celebration of the Annexion de Guanacaste, so they got to see an acto civico (a school function) in the daycare.

For their fun day, the team did a tour of Manuel Antonio National Park and then ended the day at the beach in the Park. It was a fun and beautiful day being surrounded by nature!

At the end of the week, we were sad to see them go! Even Franco enjoyed their company and took a picture with the team!  They were a great group!
