June Fun!

June was a busy month as well--that happens in busy team season during the summer! But we try to balance teams season and family life as best we can!

Check out what we did!

ENJOY!

We welcomed 3 teams total for the month of June. 2 were Steve and Georgiana's and 1 was ours.

We welcomed the Flener famil--good friends of ours
...and all of us crazy missionaries and interns!
We also welcomed a group from Mt Pisgah, ATL

The team from Mt Pisgah, GA
At the end of May, we also welcomed 2 more interns that were with us for about 1 month, Kristen and Jack, both from Riverstone Church.

Kristen and Jack at the waterfall gardens
In May/June, while Riverstone was here, we got to hang out with our dear friends Robert and Kristin and their son, Jude. We were so thankful for the time together!

Leyton's list for the sleepover! LOVE!

Robert, Kristin and Jude at Tortuga Island

We got to go together too!

Sunset at the harbor!
After a week of fun with friends, Leyton was pooped! So I took advantage and took a nap with him--doesn't happen too often any more....so I took a picture!

Sleeping with my baby boy!

Got to introduce Nelly to S'mores with Sophie and Kristen

Using the rocket stove

S'mores and smiles
We were able to go to the Waterfall Gardens with the Flener family, as a family.

Bruce found a friend!
The father/son project of a drifter was finally finished and Leyton got to take it for a spin!

Pretty cool!
June was also time to let our interns channel their inner artists and work on the set for the VBS in July!
Sophie and the rocket ship

Painting the planet

Jack is very musically gifted, so Leyton got a saxophone lesson while he was here. He did pretty good for the first time!

This is where we spent a lot of time with the interns! On the back porch!

Hanging out with the interns!

Me at cell group distracting Josue!
We had a pretty good earthquake with we had a team here. Woke everyone up at our house and I called to check on the team at Franco's. Most slept through it. It was a 6.3 at 11:23pm.

Pretty good size tremor!

Me and Isa at La Carpio--Arroz con Pollo!!!

We got to play bingo at the kids' school!

My bingo cards....but I didn't win!
I didn't win--but Jack did! A crock pot!

Jack and his winnings!

Leyton was Spiderman! Never surprises me!

And the VBS set was all ready to go by the end of June!
