Riverstone Church Youth, GA

Well, in May, we welcomed back Riverstone Youth from Atlanta. This is a team that comes just about every year and they ALWAYS come prayed up, ready to serve and serve with open hearts and minds.

It's also wonderful that the leader is one of our good friends. This year her whole family got to come--her husband Robert and her son, Jude--which is one of Leyton's friends!

It was a great week and we enjoyed serving alongside of them!

Check out their week!

ENJOY!

The Riverstone team--in the sun!
The team worked a lot on Phase 2.  They were getting the walls ready to stucco. This was a long and boring job, but they helped our workers move along faster!

Everyone loved getting their picture taken--it meant a break from monotony!

Having fun!

Even the top of the wall needed to be chipped away

So much fun!
Dinner at our house consisted of a waffle bar. 3 different types of waffles and even included gluten free/dairy free!

Sophie was the waffle bar queen!

The team also worked in the daycare. Everyone loves hanging out with the kids!

Just being silly!

Painting activity!

This is proof of what Robert does the whole week....coffee in hand! Just kidding!

Just a cool picture of the hard workers!

The team also got to hang out with the Children's home kids. They did all kinds of cool experiments with Sarah! They had a really good time.

We were also SUPER blessed with Sophie leading us in a worship time. It was nice to have someone who could sing and play the guitar! Bruce and I have no talent in leading worship.

Caught the team not working! ha ha

Another one not working! HA!

The team also went Las Gradas in La Carpio. There they worked with Doña Marielos doing crafts, food distribution and prayer walk in the community.

On Wednesday night, the team went to the youth night of worship and provided a snack after the service to all the youth that came.

The team also prepared the tubes for the new buildings.  Cleaning, painting and moving lots of tubes!

Everyone gets to be a small part of the building process!
The team also went to La Carpio to the feeding ministry.

The whole team went to Tortuga Island...however, I sat my but on a beach chair and didn't take a single picture of the team except of Robert, Kristin and Jude--on the beach and on the boat. But I swear the whole team went and they had a great time!
